Women have been involved in the wine business for hundreds of years. We want to celebrate their contribution, not because they
are women but because they have produced some of the greatest wines throughout history and continue to do so today.
Each month we will focus on a Woman Winemaker and a woman winery owner.
This Month we discovered a unique owner and winemaking team at Casa Lapostolle, from Chile:
The Owner:
Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle is the great granddaughter of Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle, the founder of Grand Marnier,
the famed French liqueur. She studied economics at University of Assas in Paris while Cyril de Bournet graduated from one of the leading business schools
in France, ESCP and has an MBA from INSEAD.
